Minister Applauds Mojec for Advancing Nigeria's Energy Sector

During a visit to Mojec V Solar's exhibit at the West Africa Industrial Manufacturing Trade Summit 2026 in Lagos, Minister of State for Industry, Trade, and Investment, John Owan Enoh, praised Mojec International Limited for its significant contributions to bridging Nigeria's energy gap. He highlighted the company's commitment to improving electricity distribution and reducing estimated billing through the deployment of renewable energy solutions, particularly solar systems and mini-grid projects.

Mojec V Solar has supplied millions of smart meters across Nigeria, enabling better monitoring of electricity usage and more accurate billing. The Managing Director of Mojec International, Chantel Abdul, noted that the firm has installed approximately 240,000 meters and plans to deploy an additional 300,000 meters in the private electricity sector by 2024.

The company's initiatives reflect a strong commitment to sustainable energy development and improving energy management in the country.
