Minister Enoh Praises Mojec for Reducing Estimated Billing

On Wednesday, Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment, John Enoh, commended Mojec International for its contributions to reducing estimated billing and enhancing electricity access across Nigeria. This acknowledgment came during his visit to Mojec Solar's exhibit at the West Africa Industrial Manufacturing Trade Summit held in Lagos in 2026.

Chantel Abdul, the Group Managing Director of Mojec International, highlighted the company's long-standing impact on Nigeria's power sector, particularly through the local manufacturing of smart meters and renewable energy solutions. Mojec has supplied millions of electric meters nationwide, significantly addressing the challenges of estimated billing.

The company has deployed nearly four million meters across Nigeria's privatized electricity sector, with plans to install an additional 300,000 meters by 2024. Mojec's efforts have earned it several recognitions, including the ECOWAS International Gold Award for its influence in the West African energy sector.

Minister Enoh emphasized Mojec's commitment to innovation and sustainable development in the power sector.
