Etinosa Idemudia Advocates Jail for False Rape Accusers

Nollywood actress and filmmaker Etinosa Idemudia has publicly recommended jail time for individuals who falsely accuse others of rape. She expressed her views on Instagram, emphasizing the need for strict punishment for those who make false claims, arguing that such accusations can destroy lives and mislead the public.

This statement comes in the wake of a controversial incident involving TikTok user Mirabel, who had recently gone viral after alleging she was raped in Ogijo, Ogun State. The allegation sparked outrage online and calls for justice.

However, Mirabel later withdrew her claim, admitting that parts of her story were not true. The Ogun State police are continuing their investigation into the matter, indicating that legal action may follow.

Meanwhile, popular Nigerian disc jockey Dorcas Fapson, known as Ms. DSF, has raised doubts about the veracity of the story, suggesting it may be linked to a mental health challenge that requires proper handling.
