Miss 9ja Pageant to Empower Youth with N10M Prize

The Miss 9ja pageant, under the leadership of President Stephani Usoro, is set to promote youth empowerment and national development. Announcing the commencement of applications for the 2027 edition, Usoro revealed that the winner will receive a grand prize of N10 million.

The pageant aims to celebrate beauty, intelligence, and grace while encouraging young Nigerian women to participate without financial barriers. Usoro emphasized that the selection process will be free and based on talent and character rather than economic background.

The initiative seeks to enable the winner to establish and sustain a business, acquire valuable skills, and contribute to reducing unemployment in Nigeria. Usoro, who holds a master's degree in accounting and financial management, aims to create a legacy where the pageant's queens become ambassadors and job creators.

She urged parents and stakeholders to encourage eligible young women to take advantage of this opportunity, expressing optimism that the competition will produce a new generation of proud ambassadors for Nigeria.
