CAN Denies Allegations of Mismanaged Relief Funds

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), led by President Daniel Okoh, has publicly refuted allegations concerning the mismanagement of relief funds meant for persecuted Christians in northern Nigeria. In a statement issued on Wednesday, CAN described the claims as malicious rumors aimed at discrediting the church and emphasized that there is no division or split within the organization.

Okoh asserted that no funds have been mismanaged or diverted, urging Nigerian media to disregard the unfounded reports. He reaffirmed CAN's commitment to unity and service to the nation, stating that the allegations are entirely false and intended to mislead the public and erode trust in the church.

CAN has warned those behind the claims to cease immediately or face legal action. The association remains steadfast in its mission to support the welfare of Christians, particularly in insecure regions of Nigeria.
