Emir Hadejia Calls for Support for Orphans in Jigawa

During the launch of the Orphan Support Committee at Hadejia's new central mosque on Wednesday, Emir Hadejia Adamu Abubakar Maje called for stakeholder support for orphans and vulnerable individuals. He emphasized the necessity of fair and transparent aid distribution, urging community involvement to ensure that assistance reaches those in need.

The Emir donated approximately N6 million to promote support for orphans and stressed the importance of both Islamic and Western education to enhance their knowledge and spiritual lives. Ahm Ari, the chairman of the Hadejia local government area, praised the committee's efforts and encouraged beneficiaries to utilize the aid effectively.

Adamu Yusuf, the chairman of the committee, conveyed goodwill messages from the Jigawa State government, highlighting the significance of proper aid utilization. Sheikh Aminu, the earlier chairman of the committee, revealed that they had distributed 1,260 Sallah cloths, 50 bags of rice, and 70 sets of wrappers to widows for Sallah celebrations, thanking contributors for their support.
