Atiku Abubakar Wins ADC Presidential Ticket for 2027

Atiku Abubakar emerged as the winner of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential ticket for the 2027 general elections during the party's primary held at Transcorp Hilton in Abuja. He secured 1,846,370 votes, defeating Rotimi Amaechi, who garnered 504,117 votes, and Moham Hayatu Deen, who received 177,120 votes, out of a total of 2,546,457 votes cast.

Following his victory, Atiku called for unity within the party, urging all members, including those who felt aggrieved, to collaborate for the upcoming elections. He emphasized that the contest should not divide the party.
