Moses Itauma Set for July 25 Fight at O2 Arena

Moses Itauma is scheduled to fight again on July 25 at the O2 Arena in London, following his emphatic victory over Jermain Franklin. Itauma, who is 21 years old, has improved his professional record to 14 wins, with 12 of those victories coming by knockout.

He made history by being the first fighter to knock out Franklin, who had previously gone the distance with notable fighters such as Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte. This performance prompted the World Boxing Organization (WBO) to name Itauma as a mandatory challenger for the heavyweight title.

The focus now shifts to the title picture, with WBO champion Fabio Wardley set to defend his belt against Daniel Dubois on May 9. Itauma, as reported by Sky Sports, is unlikely to face the winner of Wardley vs.

Dubois immediately, but a strong showing in July could push him closer to a world title shot. The O2 Arena card may also feature established names like British champion Richard Riakporh.
