Mose Itauma Returns July 25 After Stopping Jermain Franklin

Mose Itauma, a 21-year-old heavyweight prospect, will return to action on July 25 at the O2 Arena in London, with his opponent yet to be confirmed. This follows his recent stoppage victory over Jermain Franklin, which improved his professional record to 14 wins, 0 losses, and 12 knockouts.

Itauma's performance made him the first boxer to stop Franklin, who had previously gone the distance with notable fighters like Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte. As a result of this victory, the World Boxing Organization (WBO) has named Itauma the mandatory challenger for the heavyweight title.

WBO champion Fabio Wardley is scheduled to defend his title against Daniel Dubois on May 9. Itauma's win has positioned him as a rising contender in the heavyweight division, with potential future bouts against established names, including British champion Richard Riakporh, who has a record of 20 wins and 1 loss, among the options for the July card.
