Moves to demolish my house, hotel politically motivated – Gbenga Daniel insists

Former Ogun State Governor and current Senator representing Ogun East, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, has accused the present administration of politically motivated moves to demolish his private residence, Sagamu Asoludero Court, and Conference Hotels Limited. Daniel condemned the action, stating that it was an attempt to use the Ogun State Urban Regional Planning Development Law 61 of 2022 to target political opponents.

He argued that the buildings were legally constructed and that the administration's actions were a blatant disregard of due process. Daniel criticized Governor Dapo Abiodun for what he called a malicious and vindictive abuse of power, using retroactive laws to target him.

He called on citizens, human rights organizations, and legal entities to denounce the misuse of authority and hold the governor accountable for his actions.
