PDP Links Gov Abiodun’s Move To Demolish Ex-Gov, Daniel’s House To 2027 Politics

The PDP has linked Governor Abiodun's decision to demolish former Governor Daniel's house to politics in 2027. The PDP claims that Daniel is eyeing a senatorial seat in 2027 and that Abiodun's move is a result of their rift.

Governor Abiodun's Special Adviser, Kayode Akinmade, advised the PDP to focus on resolving internal crises instead of interfering in state affairs. Earlier, Daniel alleged that Abiodun ordered the demolition of his private residence, which the governor's aide dismissed as part of an ongoing audit exercise in Sagamu GRA.

The PDP's State Secretary, Sunday Solarin, accused the government of acting out of a crisis between two APC leaders and attempting to shield certain individuals from legal scrutiny. Governor Abiodun's office clarified that the audit exercise was part of a routine government project for urban renewal in various areas of the state.
