UDUS to Host Media Conference on AI Starting June 7

The University of Dumare (UDUS) will host a Media Conference on Artificial Intelligence (AI), chaired by Muhammad-Bande, the former Vice Chancellor of UDUS. The conference will commence with a pre-conference lecture by Professor Fatma El Sai from Cairo University on June 7, followed by an opening ceremony scheduled for June 8 at the university auditorium.

The Vice Chancellor of UDUS will serve as the chief host. The organizing committee anticipates participation from academics both within and outside Nigeria.

A major highlight will be a keynote address by Professor Kehbuma Langmia from Howard University, a Fulbright Scholar, focusing on the conference's theme regarding the opportunities and challenges AI presents in the media landscape. Dr.

Danladi Bako, the chairman of the organizing committee, expects participants from universities across Nigeria to present papers and contribute to panel discussions throughout the four-day event. Additionally, the conference will unveil the maiden edition of the Alkalami Journal of Communication Media Studies from the Department of Mass Communication.
