Musawa Commends Runsewe's Contributions to Nigeria's Tourism Growth at Forum

Hannatu Musa Musawa praised the former Director-General of the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC), Olusegun Runsewe, for his significant contributions to the growth and development of Nigeria's cultural and tourism landscape. Musawa acknowledged Runsewe's impact during the Nigeria Tourism Investment Forum and Exhibition (NTIFE) in Abuja, where she highlighted the urgent need to analyze the sector's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats for sustainable transformation.

Runsewe's absence from Africa's top 10 performers in the latest global tourism report was lamented, despite Nigeria's potential. The Federal Tourism Association of Nigeria (FTAN) honored Dr.

Dikko Umaru Radda with the Tourism Icon Award for his commitment to advancing Nigerian tourism. Dr.

Kabir Ali Masanawa was also recognized for his contributions in the tourism sector.
