Kwankwaso's Daughter Urges Collaboration with Peter Obi

Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the former governor of Kano State and the presidential candidate for the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), disclosed during a Monday interview on Arise Television's prime time program that his daughter advised him to work with Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, for the upcoming 2023 general elections. Kwankwaso emphasized the importance of understanding the mindset of young Nigerians, particularly in the era of social media, noting that younger family members often express views that reflect a growing demand for political collaboration and credible leadership.

He pointed out that many older politicians fail to recognize the changing dynamics and interests of the youth, who are increasingly vocal about leadership issues, including religion and ethnicity. Kwankwaso stated that his daughter expressed a desire to work with Obi, indicating a significant shift in political engagement among younger generations in Nigeria.
