Atiku Abubakar Mourns Brig Gen Braimah's Death

Atiku Abubakar, the former Vice President of Nigeria, expressed profound sorrow following the death of Brig Gen Braimah, who commanded the 29 Task Force Brigade. Brig Gen Braimah was killed during a Boko Haram attack in Benisheikh, Borno State, alongside several soldiers.

In a statement released on Friday, Atiku extended his condolences to the family of the late military officer, including his wife and brother, Alhassan, and the entire Braimah family. He described the death of Brig Gen Braimah as a painful reminder of the sacrifices made by members of the armed forces to defend the country.

Atiku emphasized that the daily sacrifices of brave men and women in the military should not be in vain. He prayed for the repose of the souls of the fallen personnel and for strength for the families they left behind, invoking Allah to grant them Aljannah Firdau.
