Laycon Reveals Mother's Health Crisis During BBNaija

Laycon, the winner of the Big Brother Naija Lockdown edition, disclosed in an interview on the Echo Room podcast that his mother was critically ill and close to death when he participated in the reality show. He stated that if he had finished second, he would not have been able to afford the medical treatment she needed, as he used his prize money to cover her healthcare costs.

Laycon also addressed his entry into the film industry, mentioning that producers have approached him for roles, but he has not yet been seen acting. He speculated that this might be due to his struggles in the music industry, where he has faced differing opinions regarding his choices in music and film.
