Seun Kuti Reveals Mother's Bold Act for Fela Kuti

In a recent revelation, musician Seun Kuti shared a childhood experience involving his late father, Fela Kuti, and mother, Fehintola Kuti. During a period when Fela Kuti was detained by the Federal Investigative Intelligence Department, Fehintola Kuti hid cannabis inside a loaf of bread to deliver to him.

Seun, who was approximately eight or nine years old at the time, was unaware of the contents of the bread. His mother instructed him to hand the loaf to his father during a visit, ensuring that he would not attract any suspicion.

It was only later that Seun learned from his sister about the hidden cannabis. Fehintola chose not to inform Seun about the contents to prevent any potential trouble during the visit to the detention center.
