Yilwatda Marks Birthday with Medical Outreach in Taraba

Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, celebrated his 58th birthday by initiating a medical outreach in Taraba State, driven by his experiences growing up in a rural community.

He aimed to address the healthcare challenges faced by vulnerable Nigerians. The outreach, which is in its second phase, has already facilitated over 300 surgeries and 572 dental procedures, offering critical medical care to those in need.

Yilwatda expressed that the event was more than just numbers, as it represented real individuals whose lives were positively impacted. He noted the emotional strength of children who, despite their health issues, welcomed visitors with smiles.

Yilwatda acknowledged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for providing resources for the initiative and praised the medical personnel involved. He emphasized the significance of the outreach, especially as many low-income families struggle with healthcare costs, making free treatment vital for those who might otherwise delay necessary medical care.
