APC Celebrates Yilwatda's First Year as National Chairman

The All Progressives Congress (APC) marked the first anniversary of Professor Nentawe Yilwatda as its national chairman, noting significant advancements in party unity, support, and internal cohesion. A statement from Mallam Yusuf Abubakar Dingyadi, the chairman’s senior special assistant on Media, emphasized that Yilwatda took office during a pivotal time for the party and has since prioritized internal democracy, stakeholder reconciliation, and repositioning the APC for the 2027 general elections.

His leadership style, characterized by consultation, humility, and administrative discipline, has fostered improved cooperation among the National Working Committee (NWC), party elders, and other stakeholders. Major achievements include reconciling aggrieved members and promoting consensus-building within the party.

The APC also reported enhanced professionalism at its national secretariat, focusing on accountability and efficient administration. Furthermore, the party has expanded its outreach to youth, women, and persons with disabilities, linking its growing acceptance to the implementation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
