Amaechi Urges Unity Among Opposition to Defeat Tinubu

Rotimi Amaechi, the former Minister of Transport, expressed his views during a town hall meeting organized by the African Democratic Congress in Lagos. He stated that his supporters do not engage in abusive behavior on social media, unlike the camps of Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar.

Amaechi emphasized the importance of restraint and unity among opposition parties to effectively challenge Bola Tinubu in the presidential elections. He questioned the voter base of his rivals, suggesting that their divisive tactics could hinder the opposition's chances of success.

Amaechi also highlighted his own track record, comparing his governance experience to that of Obi and Atiku, and urged the opposition to focus their energies on unifying behind a single candidate for the primaries. He reiterated that his team has been instructed not to attack anyone, including the president, and to maintain a peaceful approach in their campaign efforts.
