N-HYPPADEC MD Reaffirms Commitment to Sustainable Development in Taraba State

Alhaji Sadiq Abubakar Yelwa, MD of N-HYPPADEC, reiterated the commitment to sustainable development during a visit to Taraba State, discussing collaboration with state governments. The visit included discussions with Governor Dr.

Agbu Kefa and traditional leaders. The focus was on addressing environmental and socio-economic challenges in member states hosting hydroelectric facilities.

Projects in Taraba State include solar power installations, borehole construction, and flood mitigation efforts. The MD highlighted the importance of Taraba in Nigeria's energy future, especially with projects like the Kashimbila and Mambilla hydropower plants.
