SERAP Drags Akpabio and Abbas to Court Over Bribery Allegations

The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has filed a lawsuit against Senator Akpabio and Rep. Abbas for allegedly receiving bribes to sponsor bills in the National Assembly.

The suit aims to compel an investigation by anti-corruption agencies and protect whistleblowers. The allegations, if proven, would constitute a breach of public trust and Nigeria's anti-corruption laws.

The whistleblower, Hon. Ibrahim Auyo, initially made the claims in a viral video.
