NACABS Polytechnic Matriculates 610 Students, Warns Misconduct

NACABS Polytechnic in Akwanga, Nasarawa State, held its 14th matriculation ceremony on Friday, welcoming 610 students into the National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programs for the 2025/2026 academic session. The founder of the institution, Mr.

Mondai David Abuluya, issued a stern warning against misconduct, particularly the practice of sex-for-marks, vowing to dismiss any staff found engaging in such activities. He advised female students against prostitution and urged all students to refrain from examination malpractice and drug abuse.

The rector, Mr. Audu Timothy Maikori, declared the matriculation open and congratulated the new students, emphasizing the importance of serious academic pursuit.

The deputy rector, Barr. David Agbutun, also congratulated the students and highlighted the institution's commitment to overall educational development.

The registrar, Mr. Usman Ogah, administered the matriculation oath, reminding students of the consequences of violating school rules.
