Nigerian Air Force Graduates New Intelligence Officers

On May 8, 2026, the Nigerian Air Force held a graduation ceremony for a new set of intelligence personnel as part of its initiative to strengthen intelligence-led operations and enhance national security across the country. The event took place at the Nigerian Air Force School of Air Intelligence.

Air Vice Marshal Nnamdi Ananaba represented the Chief of Air Intelligence, while Air Vice Marshal Emmanuel Ukpong, the Director of Air Intelligence, described the graduation as a significant milestone in the ongoing effort to produce highly professional intelligence personnel capable of supporting national security objectives. Ukpong emphasized the need for training that aligns with evolving security environments and the importance of credible intelligence in military operations.

He urged the graduates to uphold professional discipline and continue self-development in line with emerging technological advancements. The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sundai Kelvin Anek, reaffirmed the commitment to strengthening intelligence capacity within the Nigerian Air Force.
