NAMA Warns Against Fake Recruitment Scams in Nigeria

The Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) has issued a warning regarding fraudulent recruitment activities falsely claiming to be associated with the agency. In a statement signed by Abdullahi Musa, the Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, NAMA clarified that it is not currently conducting any recruitment exercises.

The agency cautioned the public against individuals or groups impersonating NAMA to offer fake jobs and issue fraudulent appointment letters. NAMA emphasized that any recruitment claims made in its name are unauthorized and advised job seekers to be vigilant, particularly regarding unofficial recruitment messages.

The agency also warned against making payments or sharing sensitive personal information with anyone claiming to represent NAMA. Furthermore, NAMA stated it would not be liable for any financial losses incurred by individuals dealing with these fraudsters and urged the public to report any suspected fraudulent activities to the appropriate authorities.
