NANS Zone C Supports NCDC's 20-Year Development Plan

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Zone C, has expressed support for the North Central Development Commission's (NCDC) 20-year development plan, calling it a timely initiative to address the region's aspirations and development needs. In a statement from Abuja, NANS Zone C Coordinator, Comrade Abiola Azeez Babatunde, highlighted the significance of including young people in discussions about the region's future.

He noted that the North Central is home to millions of young Nigerians whose contributions could drive economic and social transformation if given the right opportunities. Babatunde emphasized that the development plan should focus on education, skills development, employment, entrepreneurship, technology, and youth participation.

NANS Zone C is prepared to collaborate with the NCDC and other stakeholders to create opportunities for students. Comrade Anzaku Shedrack, representing NANS President Comrade Akinteye Babatunde, also supported the initiative and urged for regular stakeholder engagements.

The association reaffirmed its commitment to advocacy and partnership to ensure the development plan reflects the needs of the student demographic.
