NANTA Collaborates to Boost Intra-African Tourism Growth

The National Association of Nigeria Travel Agents (NANTA), under the leadership of Mr. Yinka Folami, is advocating for the growth of tourism in Africa.

In collaboration with Ghana-based Safari Valley Resort and Ibom Air, NANTA will conduct a four-day retreat aimed at revitalizing commitment to intra-African tourism. The retreat will focus on addressing challenges such as xenophobia and trade barriers that hinder cultural tourism and travel opportunities across the continent.

Mr. Folami emphasized the historical ties between Nigeria and Ghana, highlighting the importance of African unity and cooperation.

The initiative is designed to rekindle hope and drive conversations around solutions to issues affecting tourism in Africa, reinforcing the cultural and commercial exchanges between Nigeria and Ghana.
