Governor Abdullahi Sule Launches Road Projects in Nasarawa

On September 27, 2026, Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule commissioned three road projects funded by the local governments in the Nasarawa North Senatorial District, as part of the state's 30th anniversary celebrations. The projects consist of a 5-kilometre asphalt road in Akwanga Local Government Area and 1-kilometre township roads in both Wamba and Nasarawa-Eggon Local Government Areas.

The commissioning ceremonies took place separately in each local government area, emphasizing the importance of local government administration in the state's development agenda. Governor Sule praised the chairmen of the three local governments—Ezekiel Jagga (Wamba), Safiyanu Isa Andaha (Akwanga), and Iliya Ibn Aliyu (Nasarawa-Eggon)—for their contributions.

He reiterated his administration's commitment to granting full autonomy to local governments for independent fund management. Traditional leaders, including Justice Lawal Musa Nagogo (Rtd), Pastor Samson Gamu Yare, and Justice Ahmed Ubangari Alaku (Rtd), expressed their support for grassroots development initiatives.
