Musa Bage Appointed New Galadiman Lafia by Emir

On Friday, the 8th of July 2026, Emir Sidi Muhammad Bage I appointed Musa Bage as the new Galadiman Lafia, succeeding the late Galadiman Muhammad Jibrin Mamman, who passed away at the age of 95 after a brief illness. The Emir emphasized that the appointment was made to ensure integrity and humility in service.

Musa Bage, born on December 20, 1974, expressed his commitment to fulfilling his duties and not failing the Emir or the council. He acknowledged the Emir's trust in him and promised to leverage his wealth of experience to advance the local government and contribute meaningfully to the development of the state.

The Emir further charged Bage to work diligently in line with the administrative framework of the local government system.
