PDP Stakeholders Urge Ombugadu to Run Again in 2027

Stakeholders of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Lafia, Nasarawa State, have publicly urged Dr. David Ombugadu, the party's 2023 gubernatorial candidate, to contest for the gubernatorial seat again in the 2027 elections.

This appeal was made during a gathering at the PDP secretariat, where stakeholders, including women and youth from 13 electoral wards in Lafia, expressed their support for Ombugadu's potential re-election bid. Abu Agya, who addressed the gathering, emphasized the importance of Ombugadu's leadership and praised his performance during the 2023 general elections.

Safiyanu Angbaku, a PDP chieftain, also expressed confidence in Ombugadu's ability to lead the state to greater heights. Additionally, Yahaya Ohinoyi, Ombugadu's running mate in the 2023 elections, conveyed the stakeholders' message of support and encouraged Nigerians to obtain their permanent voter cards to ensure credible leadership and promote peace and development across the state.
