Governor Sule Awards N44 Million to NSUK Graduates

On the occasion of the 8th combined convocation ceremony celebrating the 25th anniversary of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Governor Abdullahi Sule awarded N44 million to 82 first-class graduates. Each graduate received N500,000 as part of the initiative to recognize academic excellence.

Governor Sule expressed appreciation to the pro-chancellor of the university, Professor Attahiru Jega, and the vice-chancellor, Professor SA Adatu Hassan Liman, highlighting the institution's role as a microcosm of Nigeria that unifies education and patriotism. He acknowledged the significant contributions of the alumni association and partners in developing the university.

The governor also noted the unprecedented number of doctoral degrees conferred by the university, emphasizing the need for broad-based partnerships to sustain the institution's achievements. Professor Jega praised the pioneering efforts of former vice-chancellor Professor Adamu Baiki in nurturing the university to its current state.
