NASFAT Urges Support for Tinubu's Reforms Amid Hardship

The Nasrul Lahi l Fatih Society (NASFAT), represented by Imam Abdu Azeez Morufu Onik, has called for patience and support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's ongoing reforms. During an Eid ul-Fitr message delivered in Lagos, Onik cautioned against premature criticism and urged citizens to adopt a constructive approach in national discourse, aligning with Islamic teachings that promote accountability and the avoidance of baseless suspicions.

He acknowledged the economic hardships currently faced by Nigerians but noted the federal government's efforts to stabilize the economy and improve security through policies such as fuel subsidy removal and foreign exchange unification. Onik highlighted that these measures have already produced positive macroeconomic indicators, including increased government revenue and improved investor confidence.

He stressed the importance of relying on verified information to build trust in the government and reduce unnecessary tensions. Onik concluded with a prayer for divine guidance for Nigeria's leaders and the prosperity of its people.
