Senator Natasha Threatens Legal Action Over Resumption - NASS Clerk Warned

Senator Natasha, representing Kogi Central, warned the Clerk of the National Assembly (CNA), Kamorudeen Ogunlana, of legal action if her resumption on Monday, September 15, 2025, is obstructed. In a letter dated September 10, Natasha's counsel emphasized that any attempt to prevent her from resuming legislative duties would result in legal consequences.

The Senator argued that the CNA's alleged refusal to enforce existing court judgments violates the Constitution and the Code of Conduct for Public Officers. Despite being informed of her suspension, Natasha asserts that she can resume her duties as the suspension remains under review.
