NFSL Launches Second Phase with Zonal Tournaments

The National Futsal Super League (NFSL) is set to commence the second phase of its competition with zonal tournaments scheduled in Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, and Lagos. Shamsudeen Tijanni Yusuf, the Chief Executive Officer of Galaxy 5s, announced this development in a statement issued in Abuja on Tuesday.

Following the success of the maiden edition held in Kaduna, the NFSL aims to enhance participation, strengthen club development, and provide a competitive platform for Nigeria's top futsal talent. The zonal competitions will feature teams from across the country competing for qualification to the National Final, where the leading clubs will vie for the NFSL title.

The venue and date for the National Final will be announced later. This second phase reflects the NFSL's commitment to establishing a sustainable futsal structure in Nigeria through regular competitions, talent identification, and stakeholder collaboration.
