Bauchi Police to Celebrate National Police Day 2026

The Bauchi State Police Command, led by CP Sani Omolori Aliyu, announced the celebration of National Police Day from March 30 to April 7, 2026. The theme for this year's event is "Community Partnership: Building Trust," reflecting the force's commitment to strengthening collaboration with the public and enhancing transparency.

The celebrations will include a week-long series of activities, starting with a statewide environmental sanitation exercise and free medical services on March 30, 2026. On March 31, a national walkathon will take place across Bauchi's metropolitan area to promote unity and strengthen police-community relations.

A public sensitization campaign addressing the dangers of electoral violence will occur on April 1. On April 2, the police will honor fallen heroes by presenting checks to their families.

The final event on April 7 will feature a ceremonial parade at Eagle Square in Abuja, showcasing tactical displays from special units. CP Aliyu invited community leaders and civil society organizations to participate in these activities.
