Ogun Police Command Hosts Medical Outreach for National Day

On Monday, the Ogun State Police Command held a medical outreach and sanitation exercise to commemorate the 2026 National Police Day. The event was flagged off by Commissioner of Police Bode Ojajuni on behalf of Inspector General of Police Tunji Disu at the Nigerian Union of Journalists secretariat in Abeokuta.

The outreach provided free medical screenings, including blood sugar level checks, blood pressure monitoring, height and weight measurements, and health talks aimed at promoting basic healthcare practices. The initiative reflects the police's commitment to public health and community service, reinforcing a people-centered approach.

The Ogun State Police Command emphasized its dedication to proactive policing and community engagement throughout the week-long program, which includes various humanitarian activities across the state.
