Nigerian Navy Launches Raffle for Civilian Warship Sail

The Nigerian Navy has initiated a raffle for civilians to have the opportunity to sail aboard a Nigerian Navy ship, marking its 70th anniversary. This initiative was announced on Wednesday by Director of Information, Abi Folorunsho.

The exercise will run a two-week registration period for interested participants. To enter, individuals must complete an online form and receive a unique code, which will be used in a random selection process.

The Navy emphasized that the number of winners will depend on safety considerations, and slots cannot be transferred to others. Participants must be 18 years or older and will need to consent to a privacy policy attached to the registration link.

The initiative has generated excitement among online users, although some have raised concerns regarding data usage and transparency in the selection process.
