Nigerian Bar Association Calls for Suspension of Tax Reform Acts Over Alleged Alterations

The tax reform bills signed into law by President Bola Tinubu in June face opposition from political leaders like Peter Obi and groups like the Labour Party and African Democratic Party. Concerns over the lack of formal scrutiny and harmonization of the bills have raised doubts about the transparency of the legislative process, impacting Nigeria's tax reform plans.
