NCDC Condemns Benue Attacks, Calls for Justice

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has condemned the recent attacks in the Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State, which resulted in tragic loss of lives and destruction of property. Dr.

Cyril Yiltsen Tsenyil, the Managing Director of NCDC, expressed profound grief and concern regarding the incident, extending condolences to the families of those affected. He emphasized that peace and security are essential for sustainable development and warned that recurring violence undermines efforts to improve the livelihoods of the people in the North Central region.

The NCDC called on relevant security agencies to intensify efforts to apprehend the perpetrators of the attack and ensure they are brought to justice without delay. Additionally, Dr.
