NCDMB Launches Pipeline Engineering Training Program

The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) partnered with MJD Oilfield Services Ltd and Renaissance Africa Energy Company Ltd to launch a comprehensive 12-month Nigerian Content Human Capital Development (HCD) training program. This initiative is designed to equip 33 Nigerian graduates with advanced technical competencies in pipeline engineering and corrosion control.

During the kickoff ceremony, Mr. Olayemi Familusi, Managing Director of MJD Oilfield Services Ltd, emphasized the program's significance and urged participants to fully engage with the opportunities provided.

The NCDMB, represented by Mr. Taril Bribena, highlighted the critical importance of pipeline integrity expertise, particularly for the 614-kilometer Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) gas pipeline.

The board mandates a minimum attendance rate of 99.9% and will replace participants who do not demonstrate commitment. The program includes monthly stipends, meals, mobilization allowances, learning resources, and health insurance coverage, aiming to significantly transform the career trajectories of young Nigerian graduates entering the oil and gas industry.
