NCDMB Launches Pipeline Engineering Training Program

The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) and MJD Oilfield Services Ltd, in collaboration with Renaissance Africa Energy Company Ltd, officially commenced a comprehensive 12-month Nigerian Content Human Capital Development (HCD) training program. This initiative is designed to equip 33 Nigerian graduates in engineering-related disciplines with advanced technical competencies in pipeline integrity and corrosion control.

The program aims to strengthen local capacity within Nigeria's oil and gas sector. During the kickoff ceremony, Mr.

Olayemi Familusi, Managing Director of MJD Oilfield Services Ltd, emphasized the significance of the program and urged participants to fully leverage the opportunities provided. Mr.

Taril Bribena, representing the NCDMB, highlighted the board's commitment to advancing Nigerian talent in the industry. The training includes a strict attendance requirement of 99.9% and offers monthly stipends, health insurance, and local certifications upon successful completion, reinforcing the pathway for young Nigerian graduates to transition into the oil and gas industry.
