NDA to Graduate 19 First Class Cadets on Sept 24, 2026

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in Kaduna will hold its 36th convocation ceremony on September 24, 2026, where 444 cadets from the 73 Regular Course will graduate. Provost Prof. Bolanle Joel Ajibuah announced that 19 cadets will receive First Class degrees, with 156 graduating with Second Class Upper, 222 with Second Class Lower, and 47 with Third Class.

The cadets are from various faculties, including 152 from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, 53 from Engineering and Technology, 128 from Science, 56 from Management Studies, and 55 from the Faculty of Military Science and Interdisciplinary Studies. Among the graduates is an allied cadet from Congo Brazzaville.

Additionally, 3,064 postgraduate students will receive their certificates, including 160 PhD, 2,132 master's degrees, and 769 postgraduate diplomas. The Academy will award various academic prizes and confer honorary degrees to Engr. Adetokunbo Ogundeyin and Alhaji Auwalu Abdullahi Rano for their contributions to entrepreneurship and national development.
