Defence Minister Urges NDC Graduates on Leadership

On Monday, Gen. Christopher Musa (rtd), the Minister of Defence, addressed the graduates of National Defence College (NDC) Course 34 during their graduation lecture at the NDC Auditorium in Abuja. He urged the graduates to translate their training into effective leadership and sound policy, emphasizing the critical need for strategic leadership in their respective services, ministries, departments, and agencies.

Gen. Musa highlighted the importance of applying the knowledge and networks gained at the college to enhance national resilience, economic development, peace, and security. He stressed that security and prosperity are interconnected and that sustainable development cannot thrive in an insecure environment.

The minister called for increased investment in infrastructure, technology, and human capital, and noted the necessity of resilient institutions and regional cooperation for Africa's future. He congratulated the graduates and acknowledged former President Goodluck Jonathan for delivering the graduation lecture, which focused on the significance of industrial capacity for economic competitiveness and regional stability.
