NDC Mobilizes Polling Agents for 2027 Elections

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has commenced the mobilization of polling agents in preparation for the 2027 general elections. The party has instructed its state and Local Government Area (LGA) chairmen to compile and harmonize lists of party agents, with a deadline of two weeks for submission to the party leadership.

This directive was communicated in a statement signed by Osa Director, the National Publicity Secretary, on Tuesday. The NDC emphasized that the lists would include two sets of agents: one for the National Assembly elections and another for the governorship and state House of Assembly elections.

The party leadership, including its presidential candidate and running mate, will scrutinize and ratify these lists before training begins. Additionally, the final lists must be counter-signed by state chairmen and respective candidates to validate the nominations.

In cases of disagreement over agent selection, the candidate’s choice will take precedence. Osa Director reassured party members that the NDC is fully prepared for a robust campaign.
