NDC Moves National Campaign Council Inauguration to October
The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced a rescheduling of the inauguration of its National Campaign Council (NCC), which was originally set for Tuesday, October 20, 2026. The new date for the event is now Monday, October 26, 2026.
This change was necessitated by the tight schedule of the party's presidential candidate, His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi, who has a significant engagement overseas. Osa Director, the National Publicity Secretary of the NDC, issued a statement apologizing for any inconvenience this shift may cause and urged party members to maintain focus on their goal of securing victory in the upcoming 2027 general elections.
The NDC emphasized the importance of the event in relation to their campaign efforts.
