NDC Sets ₦60 Million Fee for Presidential Nomination

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced that the fee for its presidential nomination form will be ₦60 million. The sale of these forms will begin on May 13 and end on May 18, 2023.

The party's chairman, Mose Cleopa, disclosed this information in a statement issued in Abuja on Tuesday. The presidential primaries are set for May 29, 2023, in Abuja.

Candidates will undergo a screening exercise on May 25 and 26, where they must present relevant credentials and support documents. The NDC has also stated that female aspirants will pay 50% of the approval fee, while persons living with disabilities will pay 25% across all categories.

The party aims to conduct a transparent and credible primary process, adopting an open secret ballot system to ensure fairness and integrity in the electoral process for the upcoming 2027 elections.
