NDDC Enhances NYSC Radio with Equipment Donation

The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has donated broadcast equipment to the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to support the operations of NYSC Radio 88.3 FM in Abuja. The donation was presented by Mari Nwaek, the Director of the NDDC Liaison Office in Abuja, during a brief ceremony at the NYSC National Directorate Headquarters.

The equipment includes a 2-kilowatt FM transmitter and an inverter system powered by lithium batteries, ensuring a steady power supply. This initiative is part of the NDDC's commitment to youth development and enhancing the media's role in national building.

Samuel Ogbuku, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NDDC, emphasized the importance of supporting young Nigerians, particularly those in national service. Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, the NYSC Director General, and Emeka Mgbemena, the NYSC Media Director, expressed gratitude for the NDDC's support, highlighting that the equipment will significantly enhance the station's output and operational efficiency.
