NDLEA Arrests Six in Bayero University Drug Raid

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) conducted a successful raid at the Bayero University Kano old site area, resulting in the arrest of six suspects allegedly involved in illicit drug activities. The operation, led by Assistant Superintendent of Narcotics Sadiq Maigatari under the command of CN Dy Lawal, was initiated following formal complaints from the university management regarding drug dealers and users operating within the institution and its adjoining community.

The NDLEA's action aimed to dismantle several drug joints in the area, responding to growing concerns about drug trafficking and substance abuse trends that pose threats to students and staff.
