The first truck, registered as Oyo LUI 172 XC, contained 260 bags weighing 3,900 kg, while the second truck, marked Oyo LUI 281 XC, carried 223 bags weighing 3,345 kg, bringing the total to 483 bags. The arrested suspects, including Ibrahim Abu (29), Abu Abdullazeez (28), Jibril Jaminu (35), Andrew Mose (22), and Ganiyu Abu (21), are believed to be connected to the drug trafficking operation originating from Sabongida Ora in Owan West Local Government Area, en route to Abuja.
The total estimated value of the seized drugs is N724.5 million, marking a significant breakthrough in disrupting the interstate drug trafficking network.
