NDLEA Raises Alarm Over Fake Medicinal Cannabis in Nigeria

The NDLEA has issued a warning about the presence of fake medicinal cannabis in Nigeria, following the arrest of a drug kingpin, Afeez Salisu, for distributing dangerous synthetic strains of cannabis. The seized products were packaged as medicinal cannabis but contained illicit and harmful substances.

NDLEA emphasized the dangers of consuming such products, especially for young people. Chairman Brig Gen Moham Buba Marwa urged the public to be vigilant against deceptive labeling and false health claims.
